The Importance of Executive Coaching
At LT Results, we’ve always believed leadership shouldn’t be lonely, but after decades of working alongside CEOs and entrepreneurs, we know it often is. That’s why executive coaching has become one of the most important services we offer. For many leaders, executive coaching goes beyond a tool for growth. It’s a much-needed moment of clarity and sometimes a reality check.
Coaching That Starts with Strategy
Liz doesn’t approach coaching like a therapist or a motivational speaker. She approaches it like a strategist. “I treat coaching like I would treat a strategic plan,” she says. “We look at where the leader wants to be, where they are currently, and then we identify the gap.” From there, it’s about building a plan, using real data and third-party assessments. Liz leans heavily on The Seven Stages of Growth framework and TTI assessments to help leaders understand themselves and the people around them. No matter how successful a leader appears to be, one issue shows up time and time again: self-worth. “Most CEOs, or anyone in leadership for that matter, feel like imposters,” Liz explains. “They think they’re going to be found out. Even those who present with a strong ego are usually masking deep insecurity.”
Coaching helps leaders work through those feelings and get to the root of who they are and what they want. Once clients have clarity, they can build confidence and create more connections between themselves and their team. That’s where the transformation happens. In Liz’s words, “Clarity gives you confidence. Confidence helps you connect, and that connection is the foundation of strong leadership.”
What Sets LT Results Apart
When we start working with a new coaching client, the first few sessions are all about understanding. Liz helps each client identify their current growth stage, where their challenges lie, and where they want to go. “Once I know where they are, I know how to help them grow into who they need to be,” she explains.
Liz is a firm believer that clients shouldn’t depend on her forever. Her goal is to equip every client with the tools and insight so they can take ownership of their leadership. “Just like my book, I’m a resource.” To learn more about Liz’s book, Who’s Leading Your Business, click here.
When to Pursue Business Coaching
So, how do you know when it’s time to find a coach? According to Liz, you might be ready for a business coach if your company is experiencing a stall. “The business might not be growing, turnover may be high, or the CEO can’t see past their own opinion.” Coaching becomes essential when the leader’s mindset is limiting the company’s momentum.
Coaching Creates Better Leadership
Over the years, Liz has seen how coaching shapes not only her clients but also her own approach to leadership. “Coaching creates self-awareness,” she shares. I’ve learned that not every client needs me to be efficient or quick. Sometimes, they need me to sit down, listen more, and meet them where they are.” It’s a good reminder that leadership isn’t about having all the answers but about being willing to learn, adjust, and grow.
Whether you’re facing a leadership crossroads or just need someone to ask you the right questions, executive coaching may be the thing to help you reach your goals. At LT Results, we’re here to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and make the connections that will carry your leadership and business forward.
